I’m pleased to see AWS leading way with a variety of improvements. As an engineer who loves utilizing new technologies I tend to focus on making sure I’m up to date with the latest bleeding edge tech from a variety of sources.
One of the improvements which catch my eye is the improvements to DyanmoDB for encryption at rest. When data is stored on disk then all data should be encrypted. There are many security standards were data must be encrypted when stored on disk.
I’ll add some examples on usage with my next post, possibly utilizing serverless or an easy method to provide an example.
